News Update: Dealers Racking Up Orders for General Motors Co.’s Electric Volt Car
Officials from General Motors Co. announced Tuesday that orders of its Volt electric car are now being taken by Chevrolet dealers. The Volt starts at $41000 and will be available first in New York, New Jersey, California, Michigan, Connecticut, Texas and Washington, DC, reports MarketWatch. A federal tax credit of a maximum of $7500 is available for the Volt.
